The concentrated mode in "Monster Hunter: The Wilderness" is a very fun special mode in the game. If you want to use the concentrated mode, all weapons can enter the focus mode. Depending on your choice, you can press "Stay" or "Switch" to enter. No matter which method you use, a line of aim appears in the center of your screen.
How to use Monster Hunter's Wild Concentrated Mode
All weapons can enter focus mode. Depending on your choice, you can press "Stay" or "Switch" to enter. No matter which method you use, a line of aim appears in the center of your screen. If you point to a monster, it will be orange. Otherwise, it will be gray.
For long-range weapons, orange means you are within critical distance, which is the best range of ammunition you are currently equipped with. Gray means that while you may hit monsters, any shot will deal lower damage.
With centralized mode, you can freely aim at your camera when attacking. This can help some weapons perform more precise attacks. Some weapons change their action set in Focus mode. For example, when you focus, insect Gleff's close relatives fight next to some of your attacks.
Monsters' wounds are usually visible, but in focus mode, the scout emits a red light around the wounds, making them easier to see.
