Adding friends in Monster Hunter: Wilderness is a very important thing in the game, because once you add friends, you no longer need to use the lobby code to join the lobby. If you want to add friends, you can hover over the hunter's name in the member list, select it, and then choose to send a friend request.
How to add friends in Monster Hunter Wilderness
In the Start Menu → Communication (Page 4) → Member List, you can select each of your friends and add them as Hunter Friends. This is a unique friend list of "Monster Hunter wild", which brings together friends from all your platforms. By adding Hunter Friends, we will be easier to play games together in the future.
Hover over the hunter's name in the member list, select it, and select Send a friend request.
Your friends can accept the request through the Start menu → Communication (Page 4) → Invitation List → Select Hunter Friend Request → Accept the request.

Being a hunter friend is great because you no longer need to share lobby code in the future. All you need to do is get a person to start lobbying. You can go to the title interface main menu → Start the game → Select your Hunter → Hall Search → Hunter Friend Search, and then select the friend you want to join in the next interface.
Or, when you are in the game and in the base camp, you can talk to Alma → go to the third tab to change the lobby menu → lobby search → hunter friend search.
