Using the lobby ID system in Monster Hunter Wilds is one way to join your friends in multiplayer.
The multiplayer options in Monster Hunter Wilds is a bit complex, but depending on how you plan on playing with friends — especially when taking into account crossplay — you may need their lobby ID.
Below, we explain how to find your lobby ID to share with your friends in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How to find the lobby ID in Monster Hunter Wilds
To find the lobby ID in Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll need to do the following:
- Start the game with the “Private Lobby” option.
- Open your game menu and tab over to the “Communication” tab with the speech bubble icon.
- Select “Link Party” and then “View Link Members.”
- Your lobby ID will show up on the right side.
With this, any pals you have should be able to join your lobby by selecting “Lobby Search” on the main menu and inputting your lobby ID.
From here, you can set up a Link Party to play the game fully together with the “Environment Link” option, or you can just keep it to quests by remaining as a Link Party.
