It is very easy to play custom tracks with other players. In the main menu, scroll down to Custom Music. Here you will see two options; Steam Workshop and Level Editor. After selecting Steam Workshop, the Steam Overlay interface will appear, allowing you to browse custom songs created by other players.
When you find a song you like, just click "Subscribe" and this will add the song to your custom music library. The song should appear in seconds and you don't need to restart the game.
If you don't see the song, don't worry! It is possible that the track page you are on is suitable for the error difficulty. For example, if you downloaded a song with only "Super Difficulty" difficulty under the "Medium Difficulty" menu, you need to scroll right to see it.
Some creators only produce tracks of one difficulty, but many songs have multiple difficulties. Difficulties will appear on the Steam download page, so you can view their ratings before subscribing.
