Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has a total of 7 Gold Ball collectibles. Finding 2 of these is required to earn the Not Counting the Usual Ones trophy & achievement, and finding all 7 is required to finish the substory When You Wish Upon Some Balls.
Gold Balls do not appear in the game at all until you reach Chapter 3 and receive the substory, so don’t bother searching for them before then. You are then able to collect all 7 immediately using the provided hints. Noah will also comment on something being nearby if you are in the vicinity of one of the balls.
Once you have obtained all 7 you can return to the substory provider in Hawaii to complete the substory.

1. Chinese Medicine Shop – On the sign in the back of Wan Shang Tong Herbal Medicine.
2. Sushi restaurant – On the Shinobi Sushi sign.
3. Seaside Avenue Pool – North of Pidgeon Family Market at the corner of Seaside Ave. and Aloha St. is a hotel (where Kiryu stays in Infinite Wealth). Look through the hole in the wall to the west toward the pool.
4. Pawn shop masked doll – In Treasure Select Pawn (Hula Ave.) on the statue in the window.
5. Man chasing sickos – Redeem 3,333 pts at the Sicko Snap minigame Snap Points Exchange.

6 . Freak on top of Dunghill – On the rooftop of Dunghill bar, on the man standing against the green walls.
7. Sweaty man near the Coliseum – To the right of the Pirate’s Coliseum booth, on a man standing near one of the houses past the railing.
