Save Sun Ce
In Chapter 4 "The War of Suppression of Wu State", you will receive the task of rescuing Sun Ce. In this battle, Sun Ce's army will fight against the rebels, and your mission is to defeat all rebel commanders while protecting Sun Ce's life. This requires some strategy, as you have a time limit and must arrive in time to protect Sun Ce before the rebel commander arrives.
Initially, you can head directly to the central base in the north, ignoring the initial base. Alternatively, you can clear the first base you encounter on your way to the north, but we recommend doing this only if you feel you're fast enough to finish the rest of the battle. Remember, time is of the essence to you, so ignoring small bases can help you finish the battle faster.
Capture the central base and rescue Sun Quan
After clearing the first central base, head northeast and capture the base there, then head west to capture the second central base. At this time, you will receive a prompt that Sun Quan is under attack. Quickly go to the south to help Sun Quan defeat the enemy. In the process, Sun Ce will go to the Western Central Base. After helping Sun Quan, head directly to the east and defeat the oncoming enemy forces.
Defeat the rebels
By this time, Sun Ce should have successfully captured the western base. Once you've cleared these designated locations of enemies, head to Sun Ce's camp and bypass him into the forest. If Sun Ce entered the forest first, he would get lost and eventually be killed. Quickly enter the forest to the west and continue west until you reach a dead end, then head south. You will soon reach the rebel base, where you will fight the mini-boss Yan Baihu. Whenever a "raid" appears, use it immediately to defeat him faster.
Defeat Bai Luan
After completing this section, you need to find a hidden tunnel in the forest. Go a little further north, keeping to the west side, and you'll see an opening obscured by branches. If you can't see it, you can use "Spirit Bird Eyes" to spot it. After entering the tunnel, go south and you will find the main boss Bai Luan. The battle with Bai Luan will be very difficult, so bring a partner with you if you wish. Phantom guards will appear in front of you to fight you, so if you haven't summoned your guards before, now is the best time. Use your strongest combat art and always pay attention to Bai Luan's actions during the battle.
After defeating Bai Luan, exit the secret tunnel. The prompt "Change your destiny against heaven" will appear on your screen, and a special cutscene with Sun Ce will play. At this point, the battle is over and you can continue with the next quest line as normal.
