If you're reading this, that means automated systems have finally freed you from cryogenic control. I don't know how much time you have, so I'll get right to the point.
You are now at Mars Site-113, one of our largest anomaly research and containment facilities. Or at least, that's how it used to be. In the aftermath of a Near Endangered Extinction Event (NEE), we lose touch with the Earth. Whatever happens, it's not a good situation. The SCP we moved here for safekeeping has had its containment breached, and the situation is... scary.
We estimate there are only a few hundred personnel left, and the number of people stationed here has been reduced. Communication is almost impossible to maintain and you are the only person we can reach.
This is not a rescue mission. This is the last line of defense. You are humanity's last hope.
