What should you pay attention to when choosing a camp in Dynasty Warriors Origins

At the beginning of Chapter 3, Dong Zhuo was killed and the coalition collapsed. The emperor was nominally restored to power, but politics at court remained the same and nothing would change unless something changed. As the "Guardian of Peace," Zilong must choose a hero who can unify the world and usher in a new era.

At the beginning of this chapter, visit Shuijing Hermitage to meet Pang Tong, then return to the inn to read the letter. You will receive invitations from the three major forces, asking you to support their cause. When you return to the world map, you'll see a new status tracker in the upper left corner showing your contribution to each faction.

Contribution

Every time you fight on the side of one of the heroes (Cao Cao, Liu Bei, or Sun Jian), you accumulate contributions to their cause. At the beginning of the game, each force has limited contribution opportunities and does not conflict with each other. On your first playthrough, it is recommended that you complete all initial combat missions for each faction to gain additional proficiency, training, and relationships.

Once you complete one or more of the leader's first contribution quests, you can speak with that leader to advance the story. A new combat mission will be opened.

After this, you can only participate in battles with leaders who have completed their first batch of contribution tasks. For example, if you complete Cao Cao's mission and Liu Bei's two missions, but not Sun Jian's mission, then in the upcoming battle of Xuzhou, you can choose to support Cao Cao or Liu Bei, but in the battle between Liu Bei and Yuan Shu, You can only support Liu Bei.

Hostile forces

In the second half of Chapter 3, Liu Bei intervenes in Cao Cao's Xuzhou invasion and Sun Jian is forced to fight Liu Bei by his overlord Yuan Shu. In both battles, if you are allied with both sides, you will have to choose a side. When selecting a battlefield on the world map, press left or right to select the side you wish to support.

Once you fight a leader, they become your enemy for the rest of the game. By the end of the chapter, you will have become enemies of both leaders, leaving only one to be your hero. After completing their remaining contribution tasks, they will invite you to join their cause via a cutscene.
