The hero selection in "Dynasty Warriors: Origins" is a very important thing in the game, which is the choice of the three forces of Wei, Shu and Wu. The first is Cao Cao, who is historically the final winner of this conflict. He had the most powerful army and was supported by the imperial court.
Which hero is better to choose in Dynasty Warriors Origin
The three choices are relatively balanced in terms of gameplay. Once you complete the game, you'll be able to revisit past decisions and loyalties, so ultimately you can experience three storylines. On your first playthrough, choose your favorite hero, or their follower who is your favorite character.
Cao Cao was historically the final victor of this conflict. He had the most powerful army and was supported by the imperial court. His cold rationality and pragmatism can be off-putting, but given how often he's portrayed as a villain, Origins is relatively forgiving in its depiction of him. He wanted to unify China and bring peace, at any cost.
Liu Bei is a heroic counterattacker who is used to fighting in adversity. He is the protagonist in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and many of the greatest warriors of the era (including Zhuge Liang and Lu Bu) have defected to him. His in-game persona may be a bit idealistic, but he's certainly the ideal choice for players who always want to do the right thing.
Sun Jian is the epitome of a loyal courtier, and his storyline revolves around the bonds of family and friends during times of tragedy and turmoil. The Sun family's dialogue is more passionate than the words of northerners, although the string of misfortunes in their history may feel heavy.
If you just want to advance the story quickly and get to the endgame as early as possible, choose Liu Bei. His tasks are slightly less than those of the other two leaders.
