The George's Gift quest in "Stardew Valley" is a relatively unique quest in the game. How to do George’s Gift Quest in Stardew Valley
Special orders for "Gifts from George" are highly recommended. The mission would appear on a bulletin board outside Lewis' home the following year. If you don't see it in the second spring, you'll need to look again in the third year. The goal of "George's Gift" is to collect 12 leeks and place them on Evelyn and George's stove. "George's Gift" has a 28-day deadline, but you can only catch this quest on Spring Day 1. If you accept the assignment in Week 2, you will have less than 28 days to complete it.
It should be noted that the leeks you collect will only be counted in the task when the "Gift from George" task is activated. Leeks collected before accepting the mission will not be counted towards the mission.
The best way to complete the mission is to search the mountain and bus stop areas every day. You can also look in the area near the bridge leading to the quarry. If you have trouble gathering leeks, you can craft wild seeds (spring) and plant them. While the items grown from wild seeds are random, if you plant 10 or more you'll likely get a leek or two.
You can speed up the growth of wild seeds by using Deluxe Speed-Gro, which can be purchased from Pierre (year 2 and beyond) for 150 gold coins. You can also buy this fertilizer from Sandy in the Oasis for 80 gold coins, she only sells Advanced Fast-Growing Fertilizer on Thursdays, but the price is much cheaper than Pierre's.
As a reward for the "Gift from George" quest, Evelyn will send you a coffee machine via mail the next day. Place this piece of furniture anywhere in your home and it will make 1 cup of coffee every day. Although coffee does not restore much health and energy (1 health and 3 energy respectively), it does give you a +1 speed bonus for 1 minute and 23 seconds. Coffee is also Harvey's favorite gift, and is a gift enjoyed by all characters except Jas, Vincent, and Leo.
