Leeks in "Stardew Valley" are very useful and important crops in the game, but many players are not sure about the specific uses of leeks. There are several reasons why you will want to obtain leeks. Certain tasks require leeks, and you'll need one to complete the Spring Foraging Pack, while you can use them in recipes. Leeks can also be put into a sewing machine to make clothing. To better illustrate the uses of leeks, here are all the things you can do with them:
Recipes
Leeks are only used in salads. Salad restores 113 energy and 50 health; sells for 110 gold coins. Salads are also Leah's favorite gift, so you can give her one to increase intimacy.
Leeks are also used to make Wild Seeds (Sp). Mixing the ingredients together will reward the player with 10 spring seeds, which when planted will randomly yield mustard, dandelion, daffodils, or leeks. These seed packets cost about 35 gold pieces each, and are generally disliked as gifts.
Other uses
The only random use of leeks is to put them into the scroll of a sewing machine to make a lime green coat. You can also use leeks as a resource for white dye, placing them in scrolls to color dyeable clothing.
Free leeks
Players can give leeks to many NPCs in Stardew Valley, but only a few actually like this vegetable. Leeks were one of George's favorite gifts. For Petunia, Leah, Harvey, and Linus, leeks were classified as a favored gift. Other characters not listed consider leeks to be a neutral gift or a disliked/hated gift.
