There are a lot of main missions in "Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl", and the one after Seven Seals is the more troublesome. After the main quest Seven Seals, you will track down a man named Solder, who may be the culprit who stole your scanner. You need to sneak into the "realm" area to confront him, and some of the strange events you've come to expect from this series of games will happen!
How to start the After Seven Seals mission
Before you can enter the Realm and search for the Solder, you must first obtain intel about him from either his captain Zotov or Gavr. To do this, you need to get the "Protective Sensor" from Squint and give it to Captain Zotov. Alternatively, you can activate the ARMS antenna to help Gavr locate Squint's location.
You can choose to complete these two tasks, but be aware that if you give the protective sensor to captain Zotov or Richter, it will greatly affect the direction of your subsequent plot. Therefore, if you do not want to join a certain Certain factions, please choose carefully. While the mission itself won't be affected much, subsequent missions will be.
Enter the "Field" area
After getting intel on the Solder, you'll learn that he's hiding out in a nearby "field" - a large military base that will be tricky to infiltrate. Fortunately, there are several ways to gain access to the base's gates, bringing you closer and closer to the solder.
Follow the orange icons on the compass until you reach the outer wall of the Realm, which surrounds the entire massive structure. When you get here, start going around to the far right side to avoid being spotted by enemies. You'll eventually find a long metal bridge that leads directly to the base.
Although the bridge has been destroyed in some places, you can still use it to enter the base. The method is to approach the "realm" by first climbing up the stairs, then quickly running and jumping across the gap until you reach the other side of the bridge. From here, go through the first gate and head left to find the main entrance. Temporarily hide behind a nearby box to avoid detection by enemies.
Enter "field"
There will be three guards outside the main door, and you can take the opportunity to lurk behind a nearby chest. Once you've found your spot, aim for the head of one of the guards and knock him down quickly, then quickly take care of the other two guards as they charge towards you.
Next, a lone guard will come up from behind you, quickly take him out and then push on into the "realm". There will be no more guards in this area and you can explore several rooms on this level before heading down into the basement of the facility where you will eventually find the solder.
Find the solder
When you enter the basement of The Realm, two guards will come up the stairs. Deal with them quickly when they come into your sight. After taking care of these two guards, you'll hear two soldiers shouting loudly downstairs, meaning there are more guards at the bottom of the stairs.
Go to the end of the walkway and jump onto the large pipe on the left, then jump into the fenced-off area below so you can clear the gap to kill the remaining guards. After dealing with these guards, turn around and you'll see a bag next to some boxes. Open the bag to get some ammo, medical supplies, and food.
Continue deeper into the basement of the facility
Climb out of the fenced area, go through the open door, enter another set of stairs, and continue down a few more flights. When you reach the bottom, you'll find a guard in the hallway to your left. After knocking this guard down, several guards will run out from the other direction into your sight.
Continue to eliminate these guards, and then push into the room they came out of. You will find a few more guards inside. After quickly taking care of them, continue to move forward. There is a dark room ahead with some supplies inside. You can quickly go in and search it, then open the metal door to trigger a cutscene with the solder.
Talking to Solder
Upon entering the room with Solder, a cutscene will play, after which you will be given a choice: either shoot him or knock him unconscious. We chose to knock him unconscious because we weren't sure whether killing him would have negative consequences later in the story, but that decision is ultimately yours to make.
After making your choice, several guards will swarm into the Solder's room and you'll need to fight them, so be prepared. Most of them will enter the room one after another, allowing you to defeat them one by one as they walk in, so it's not too challenging. Just stay alert as they may appear out of nowhere and may surprise you if you are not prepared.
How to escape the "realm"
After leaving the solder room, go right, �Look to the right of the door and you'll find an OZK Explorer suit on a cart. Pick it up and equip it, as it's likely to be better than what you're currently wearing. Next, there will be more guards coming through the door you just passed through, so be prepared.
There will be about four guards, so make sure all weapons are reloaded and your stats are back to full. After the guards enter, kill them one by one, then enter the room they came out of and continue pushing into the interior of the realm.
Continue to the domain basement
After defeating the guards, enter the room they just came out of and you'll find a ladder that you can climb up to reach a long walkway. There will be five or six rats here to ambush you, so be prepared to deal with them. Rats are very easy to defeat, but they are extremely agile and will cause a bleeding effect once they bite you.
Keep your distance from the rats and eliminate them one by one. When all the rats have been cleaned up, jump down from below and crawl into the sewer. Follow the sewer and eventually you will reach a ramp that leads to another room. You are not far from the exit of the field, keep moving forward!
Leaving the field
From here, you'll enter another room with more rats. Deal with them as before, then jump down and enter the sewers again, following them to a room with a ladder. Climb the ladder and open a series of doors and you'll find the path to the realm's exit.
Before leaving, however, turn to the left and you'll see a storage box behind a sewer grate. Use your screwdriver to activate the gas anomaly, then quickly run over to it when it disarms and search the storage box, which contains an extended magazine, plenty of ammo, and some consumables.
Use your screwdriver to trigger the remaining anomalies and safely exit the belly of the realm and return to the wilderness where you belong. The mission is almost over!
Leave smaller area
After emerging from the bottom of the realm, you will be able to exit the smaller area and complete the "Behind the Seven Seals" quest. If you give the Alert Sensor to Richtor, you will follow the guide markers to the northern checkpoint and enter the garbage area. If you give them to Captain Zotov, you will enter the garbage area via the floating bridge.
As mentioned before, this will be an important branch of your gameplay, and deciding who to hand over the alert sensor to is crucial. Once in the Trash Zone, you'll unlock a series of new side quests and be able to continue advancing the main story!
