The Gauss Gun in "Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl" is a very easy-to-use and powerful weapon in the game. If you want to get the Gauss Gun, you can drop it by killing the "Holy Monument Soldier", and these Enemies will appear later in the game. The Monuments are usually found outside of the Red Forest and travel through Yaniv and beyond.

The only way to obtain a Gauss Gun is through killing "Temple Soldiers", which appear later in the game. The Monuments are usually found outside of the Red Forest and travel through Yaniv and beyond. Your first chance to obtain a Gauss Gun is after visiting Yaniv Station. You will reach this location when completing the "Boundary" mission, and after completing the conversation with the station guard, the Monument Soldier will appear in this area.
Of these enemies, there is only one random soldier carrying a Gauss Gun, so you need to defeat them and then loot the corpses to get it. If you don't find the Gauss Gun at this location, you can reload the previous save and go back to the checkpoint to kill more Monuments. Some other places where Monuments can appear include Pripyat and the Generator Station, both of which also have a high chance of dropping Gauss Guns. You may come to these places when taking on Strelock's mission, or choose to kill him in subsequent missions.
