Potatoes in "Farming Simulator 25" are a very high-yielding special crop in the game. If you want to plant potatoes, you can install the default cultivator on the tractor and start preparing the soil. After the soil is prepared, take out the tractor, install the potato planter on the tractor, and drive to the field to start sowing potatoes.
How to grow potatoes in Farming Simulator 25
Planting potatoes requires preparation first. After the preparation is completed, planting potatoes will become very simple. Attach the default cultivator to the tractor and start preparing the soil.
After the soil is prepared, take out the tractor, install the potato seeder on the tractor, and drive to the field to start sowing potatoes. Do not forget to lower the device, otherwise it will not work on the land.
You then need to wait a few months until the potatoes are ready to harvest. Normally, potatoes can only be sown in March and April, and they will be ripe by August.
To make things easier, you can disable the seasonal crops option in the game settings.
Once the potatoes are ripe, equip the harvester and drive into the field to harvest all the potatoes. The harvester automatically removes the leaves from the crop and harvests the potatoes.
Once the potatoes are stored in your vehicle, you have the option of unloading them onto your vehicle by selecting "Ascending Port" and clicking "Unload Here".
Make sure your trailer is right under the bin opening, otherwise the potatoes will fall to the ground and you will need to use your loader to pick them up.
