In "Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remastered Edition", the game will take you to "Paddy's Team Recruitment Office" located in the starting city of Ariyahan, where you can hire your first batch of players, and you will also recruit new players here in the future. Currently, the only known place to recruit players is this location.
While you'll initially handle recruiting your first team at Patty's front desk, if you want to recruit new players, you'll need to head upstairs. Upstairs, you'll find a table dedicated to recruiting new members. This is the "Prime Adventurer Recruiting Service," or PALS for short.
When you first arrive at PALS, you will be asked if you want to add a new member to your team. Select "Yes" and you will proceed to the first step of the recruiting process - naming your new team member. You can choose any name, it has no effect on the character's attributes.
Next, you will be asked to choose a career. Here are the careers available:

This is an important choice because it determines the play style of your created character. Warriors and martial artists are more focused on fighting, magicians and priests are magic users, and the other professions each have unique advantages. After you choose your career, you move on to choosing your gender.
Here you will have two options: Look A will be considered male, Look B will be considered female.
It is important to note that gender will have an impact on the character. Certain personality types are only open to certain genders, and characters of different genders can also have significantly different attributes.
Once you select Appearance A or B, you will choose from four different outfits and character appearances. This choice is purely cosmetic and does not affect the character's actual abilities. After selecting an appearance, you'll also choose your team member's hair color, with 14 different colors available.
Please be careful when selecting the next option, "Seed Distribution". You need to decide whether you want the game to automatically allocate up to 5 seeds, or decide on your own. Once you make your selection, you can't change it, even if you haven't used any seeds yet.
Next, you need to decide which properties to assign the seed to. There are six different types of seeds to choose from:

These seeds are related to the attributes of the protagonist, affecting everything from overall health and magic points (MP) to the improvement of attributes when the character levels up. New players should choose to let the game assign itself automatically, as it knows how to level up attributes based on the needs of each class. Once you become more familiar with the system, you can decide for yourself how to allocate.
After applying the seed, the game will randomly assign a personality type to your character. Once assigned, the game explains how that personality type affects the character's attributes. The only way to change your personality type is through accessories and books.
Finally, you'll choose your character's voice. Once completed, you will be asked if you wish to have this new character join the party. If your team is full and you selected "Yes", you will need to choose one member to stay. If you select "No", the character will be added to your list of inactive characters, which can be changed downstairs.
