"Mario & Luigi RPG Brothers Fly Together!" 》The Insulating Cool BOSS is a very powerful special BOSS in the game. If you want to defeat the Insulating Cool, you need to know its ability moves first. The first ability move is to rotate the shell. The Insulating Cool will retract into the shell and start to circle around. The brothers spun around, occasionally diving deep in an attempt to hit them.
What abilities and moves does Insulation Coolmaster have?
Insulated Bowser has many of the regular Bowser's moves, but it's his new moves that you need to worry about. This battle is divided into three stages, and Insulated Cooler will use slightly different attacks in each stage.
Duel between brothers - insulated version
Insulated Cooler has an upgraded version of the regular Cooler Showdown. Here are three different attacks he'll use against Mario or Luigi. He might be staring at one of the brothers the whole time, or he might be switching back and forth between the two.
Whenever Insulated Cooler attacks, he will smash the ground and create a circle of Insulated. Each time he does this, the circle grows larger, and if the circle is large enough to touch Mario and Luigi, they take damage and become insulated. You should end this phase of Bowser before the circle gets too big.
Shell rotation
The Insulated Bowser will retreat into its shell and begin to circle around the brothers, occasionally diving deeper in an attempt to hit them.
You need to have your hammer ready at all times and release it as soon as you see it start to leave the circular path.
Eventually, he will disappear and land on top of Mario or Luigi from above. You can tell which brother he's about to attack by looking at a large circular shadow underneath them. Again, keep your hammer ready and slam him before he gets close.
Insulated Cooler will occasionally summon a pair of Zok troops to aid him. Since these minions disappear when you defeat Insulated Cooler, I recommend ignoring them entirely.
Insulating Cooler's spaceship
When Insulated Cooler takes enough damage, a spaceship will appear. It will move back and forth, firing projectiles at Mario and Luigi. You can hit the cannonballs with your hammer, sending them flying towards the Insulated Bowser. This marks the end of the first phase of the battle. The ship will appear again at the end of the second phase.
Equipped with the Simple Countermeasure Combat Plug, the hammer becomes large enough to hit projectiles that would otherwise miss Mario and Luigi, allowing you to deal extra damage to the boss.
Red Pipe Trap
During the second and third stages of the fight, Insulated Bowser will trap Mario and Luigi in red pipes. He will then circle the pipes a few times and fire a fireball into each pipe. You need to watch the way the fireball enters the pipe and try to hit it when you think the fireball is just above your head, then use your hammer to knock it back to the Insulated Cooler.
Breath of Insulation
In the final stage of the battle, once Insulated Cooler becomes angry, he will occasionally emit a continuous beam of insulated energy from his mouth. He'll swing the beam from side to side, forcing you to jump over it to avoid taking damage, but he'll also move up and down so that jumping will cause you to hit the beam.
Watch for subtle movements in the beam, and only jump if you are sure it won't move up.
Insulated Cooler becomes enraged during the third and final phase of the battle. His attacks are faster and deal more damage. This is the perfect time to equip the Damage Shield Combat Plug.
