This process isn't complicated or time-consuming, as you'll be introduced to this feature very early in Dragon Age: Shadowkeep. However, keep in mind that even after gaining access to the Mirror of Transformation, not everything can be changed.
To change your appearance in Dragon Age: Shadowkeep, you must interact with the Mirror of Transformation in the Lighthouse. Once used, you will be transported to an appearance menu similar to the one at the start of the game.
To unlock the Mirror of Transformation, complete Dragon Age: Shadowkeep's first mission, "The End of the Beginning," in which you must find Solas and stop his ritual. After the mission ends, Rook and his companions will be teleported to the lighthouse. After speaking with Varrick, head to the corner of the room to find the Mirror of Transformation and interact with it to begin changing Rook's appearance.
Players can further customize their character or choose a completely new preset to change their appearance. There are nine classes in total that players can customize for their characters.
There is also a "Complete" category that allows players to change Rook's name, voice, and pitch. Other options such as lineage, profession, faction, and gameplay cannot be changed without starting a new game. For example, if you have chosen a mage who is an elf and specializes in necromancy, you cannot change it.
