Side quests will eventually start appearing. How to start side quests
First, you need to play the main mission until the lighthouse is slightly open and each partner is in their own room. This will take approximately five hours to complete.

Side quests are marked with an orange exclamation point. They are easy to see on the world map. However, once you explore, you need to be close to the side mission location to see it on the screen. For example, when heading to your partner's room in the lighthouse for a side quest, you need to be close to their door for an orange exclamation point to appear.
To unlock more side missions, you simply advance through the story and unlock more areas to explore. Then, each time you travel to a location, you'll find more quests.

You can also have side conversations with your partners to improve relationships and provide new side tasks.
These conversations are represented by orange speech bubbles with an exclamation mark. These will appear on the world map next to the partner's face icon. You can interact with them just like standard side quests.
