Only 2 grids of skills can be placed after it is full. Some professions have a passive +1 grid, and some equipment may also +1 grid.

How to obtain the resource bar:
Warrior: Attacking and being beaten increase the resource bar
Thief: Attack increases the resource bar, being beaten reduces the resource bar
Mage: By default, it has nothing to do with attacks and being beaten. It increases over time. The exception is that the melee attack of a melee mage increases the resource bar
