There are many special achievements in "Windrunner", and Signy is one of them. If you want to achieve this achievement, you only need to rescue Signy during the expedition. You will find Signy in the factory. Gurney (Biome 2), when you find him you will see that he is being attacked by 3 enemies.

You will find Signi in the factory (Biome 2).
When you find him, you will see that he is being attacked by 3 enemies (currently unknown names: P). You must kill all 3 enemies to save Signi. Once completed, he will have some dialogue before passing out and being taken away by the rescue fish. Once he's taken away, your achievements will suddenly appear.
Once you return to the Ark, a cutscene will appear explaining how Signi came to study the vortex there. After some conversation we find out that he will be camping to study the Ark and why it was not pulled by the whirlpool.
