Dolphin diving in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" is a special movement method in the game, but it has great negative effects after using it. If you want to use dolphin diving, you can press and hold crouch while running. Press the V key to jump in the current direction of movement. This produces extremely high speeds at the cost of zero momentum retention.
How to use dolphin diving in Call of Duty 21 Black Ops 6
In Black Ops 6, Dolphin Diving received a much-needed rework, making it more useful in combat. While running, hold down the crouch key to jump in the direction you are moving. This creates extremely high speeds at the cost of zero momentum retention - once you land, you're down and need to get back up. Unlike past Call of Duty games, you can fire while diving, making it even more useful in gunfights.
Weapons have a delay when firing after diving, this can be mitigated with add-ons.
In most gunfights, gliding is usually the better option, but dolphin diving can be very useful for bursting into rooms or traversing floors. For example, you can jump from the second floor of Skyline and crash into the pool area on the first floor, allowing you to span much of the map in a split second. However, you'll always land in a prone position, which limits your movement options. Do not dive with dolphins until you are sure you will be safe when you land.
