Your entrance to hell: Torment difficulty
Being able to reach the new Torment difficulty means you are an elite warrior, and this is also the true starting point of the end game. Increasing the difficulty of Torment is directly related to advancing the level of the Secret Realm. As you reach higher Uncharted tiers, the difficulty of the Torments you can choose from increases. The higher the Torment difficulty, the higher the chance of dropping legendary and ancient items. The following are the conditions for unlocking each level of Torment difficulty:
·Reaching level 60 unlocks Uncharted, along with its level 1–20 content. Overcoming Uncharted Level 20 unlocks Torment Level I.
·Overcoming Uncharted Level 35 unlocks Level of Torment II.
·Overcome Uncharted Level 50 to unlock Torment Level III.
·Overcome Uncharted Level 65 to unlock Torment Level IV.
If these dangers of Sanctuary weren't enough for you, Torment difficulty has a new danger: the Curse. When playing the game on Torment difficulty, your armor and resistance will be reduced as follows:
·Affliction I: -250 armor and -25% all elemental resistance
·Affliction II: -500 points of armor and -50% all elemental resistance
·Affliction III: -750 armor points and -75% all elemental resistance
·Pain IV: -1000 armor points and -100% all elemental resistance
