How to quickly defeat Raditz in Dragon Ball Lightning Explosion ZERO
To unlock the alternate path in the rematches and results of Dragon Ball Lightning Burst! ZERO, you must defeat Raditz in approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds. Once the time is up, Piccolo will take over the battle along the story's orthodox route, using his special beam cannon. While it's not a lot of time, there are a few ways to speed things up.
First, you need to recharge your ki and wait for the skill count progress bar to load. The skill count will gradually increase as the match progresses, so keep an eye on the progress bar in the upper left corner. When at least a little has been accumulated, you can push Goku beyond his limits by entering story mode. This form significantly enhances the character's performance, making enemies easier to defeat.
After activating story mode, attack Raditz until the purple meter is almost depleted. Then, unleash Wukong's special attack, the Super Turtle Style Qigong, to cause even more damage. Together, these two attacks can slash Raditz's health, especially since regular attacks are buffed in story mode. However, you may need to repeat this process one more time to completely drain Raditz of his life.
Wukong's other skills, such as Turtle Style Qigong and Meteor Slam, are also very useful. These abilities can deal damage from a distance while Raditz is exhausted. I will say, though, that Goku's sun ray is not necessary in this fight. While it's supposed to stun enemies, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on them.
As long as you use these tips, you should have enough power to get through this fight quickly. But if you still can't trigger Raditz's failure, you might want to check your difficulty settings. Keep in mind that lower difficulty levels cannot trigger this alternate path. Therefore, you must set it to normal difficulty on the episode battle page.
For players who are having difficulty on normal difficulty, Dragon Balls can be used to ease the tension of the alternate path. Dragon Balls are special items that can be used to reduce the difficulty of certain challenges, allowing for faster defeats.
