The battle in "Metaphorical Fantasy: ReFantazio" can be operated manually or automatically. If you want to fight automatically, you can press the right joystick on the controller or the 3 key on the keyboard to start automatic battle. Will cause your allies to act according to their tactical setup.

If you want your allies to act on their own, you can press the right stick on your controller or the 3 key on your keyboard to initiate auto-battle. This will cause your allies to act according to their tactical setup.
To view these tactical settings, during combat, press the LB/L1 button on your controller or the Tab key on your keyboard to open the tactics menu. Alternatively, you can go into the main menu, select "Team," then press the X/Square button or H key to select "Tactics" to see a list of options for each party member. By default, this is set to "Let them decide." You won't be able to control or set tactics for any party member marked as a guest character, so keep this in mind if you plan on training in dungeons to earn Magra to upgrade your party's archetypes.
