It’s not uncommon for footballers to be pretty tall. Whether they’re a defender or goalkeeper, or every now and then even a striker like the famously lanky Peter Crouch, height can be a massive (pun intended) boost to your team at both ends of the pitch to clear away your opponents’ crosses and nod your own ones in.
So if you’re interested in getting some tall players of your own, we’ve put together a list of the top 10 tallest players in the entire game. We’ll warn you in advance, however, that this list is unsurprisingly dominated by goalkeepers, though we do have a couple of outfield players that have made the list, too.

Unfortunately, while all of these players are tall, none of them are particularly good and are far from the best players in the game, with the best-rated ones being Nottingham Forest’s Carlos Miguel dos Santos Pereira and SC Heerenveen’s Andries Noppert – both rated 73 OVR, and both goalkeepers. CB Isaak Touré is our highest-rated outfield player with a 72 rating, but Newport County striker Kyle Hudlin is way behind him with a pretty measly 60 OVR – not exactly worth using for most players.
