Towerborne is a side-scrolling adventure that you can take on by yourself, or in the company of friends. Between the game’s four classes, all sorts of combinations can be made in multiplayer. However, with such a strong co-op component, does that mean that you can play Towerborne in crossplay as well? Let’s find out.
Can you play Towerborne in crossplay?
Yes, Towerborne fully supports crossplay. In fact, all sorts of co-op features are present in the game, so no matter what, you can easily band together with your friends to hack and slash through the monsters. The game supports both Xbox local co-op and online co-op for 2 to 4 players.
You can form parties of 2-4 players, with each playing with different or same classes, all options are available.
That means that whether you play on PC, with Game Pass, or on Xbox Series X|S, you can play with your friends on other platforms. In addition, the local co-op function lets you join with players in the same room, playing together on the same console. You can build up your party with a total of up to four players, and even play the same classes, or diversify and take on different roles.
Does Towerborne have cross-save?
This is a trickier question. At this time, we do not know if Towerborne allows you to share your progress between platforms. If, for example, you start playing on PC and want to continue on Xbox, the cross-save feature would come in handy. However, as the game develops in Early Access, we’re sure that this question will be answered as well. We will update this section as more information becomes available.
