Harry Potter Quidditch Champions brings some of the iconic brooms from the series to the game for you to try out. But unlike many of the unlockables in the game, these aren’t just cosmetic. Each broom has its own stats, so you’ll want to make sure you’re using the best possible one – especially if you’re playing some PVP matches.
We’ve gone through every broom in the game, checked out their stats, and have ranked them from best to worst so you know which brooms you should add to your arsenal, and which ones are best left alone.

Best brooms tier list
To make things easier, we’ve split our list into tiers, with S-Tier being the best and C-Tier being the worst.
Broom | Tier |
---|---|
Shooting Star | S-Tier |
Legacy | A-Tier |
Firebolt | A-Tier |
Comet | B-Tier |
Stormrider | B-Tier |
Cleansweep | B-Tier |
Oakshaft | C-Tier |
Nimbus | C-Tier |
Swiftstick | C-Tier |
S-Tier
There’s only one broom in the S-Tier, and that’s the Shooting Star. While it might not look like much compared to some of the flashier brooms, it’s the status that matter and this one has everything you need. When fully upgraded, it has maxed out acceleration and a high top speed, meaning you can quickly manoeuvre around, changing directions and quickly reaching top speeds – perfect for Chasers and Seekers.
A-Tier
The two brooms in our A-Tier are the Legacy and the Firebolt. The Firebolt has great speed and agility, making it a strong contender for players with excellent movement, but is let down by a fairly low durability. This means any smart players will be able to take you out of the game with a few choice bludger hits.
The Legacy is potentially the fastest broom in the game, so if speed is all you care about, then this is the one for you. However, it has a similarly poor durability, and if you’re changing directions a lot, its acceleration leaves a lot to be desired, too.
B-Tier
In the B-Tier, we’ve got the Comet, Stormrider, and Cleansweep. There’s honestly not much to say about any of these brooms as there’s nothing particularly special about them. They all have well-rounded stats, and while this means you won’t be lacking in any particular area, it also means you’re not going to be excelling in any areas either. If you’re after a solid but uninspiring broom with good durability, go for one of these.
C-Tier
At the bottom of the pile, we’ve got the Nimbus, Swiftstick, and Oakshaft. In the Oakshaft’s defence, it has the best regeneration rate of any of the brooms, but ideally you’ll avoid being hit in the first place, making it a fairly poor stat to focus on.
All that being said, it’s still much better than the Nimbus and Swiftstick, which have identical stats. These are, frankly, pretty bad. They have even more rounded stats than the B-Tier brooms, meaning you’ll almost never be able to compete with better-rated brooms in any regard. Slower, weaker, and less agile, you should use anything but this.
