There’s a fresh batch of weapon blueprints waiting for you in Natlan, the region added in Genshin Impact 5.0. Obtaining new forging blueprints, also known as diagrams, unlocks unique craftable weapons of four-star rarity.

Since most four-star weapons can only be obtained through the Genshin Impact’s gacha system (the “wish system”), crafting weapons is an excellent way to gear up your characters for free. Just find the right NPC, collect the required materials, and start crafting.

Here’s where to find the Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact and how to get them.

Where to find Natlan weapon blueprints

To get the Natlan weapon blueprints, you must visit the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and buy them from Alom, the local blacksmith. If you haven’t been there yet, you can enter Natlan from the Desert of Hadramaveth and follow the road to the west, through Tequemecan Valley (see map above for the full route). The Stadium of the Sacred Flame is in the Basin of the Unnumbered Flames area.

Upon arriving in the city (via the eastern teleport waypoint), don’t go into the circular arena ahead of you, but take the seemingly locked doors on the left — they’ll swing open as soon as you approach (see picture above).

As you enter the “Temple of Pax,” go downstairs to find Alom’s blacksmith station right in front of you.

To get a Natlan forging diagram, ask Alom to show his wares. A single forging diagram costs 10 Condessence Crystal and two different types of Natlan materials, 10 pieces each (so 20 materials total). If you already have the required materials, you can unlock the weapon diagrams right away. If not, we’ll show you how to obtain these materials below.

How to get Natlan forging diagrams

First things first, here’s an overview of the materials you’ll need to obtain a forging diagram from Alom:

* Flute of Ezpitzal (sword): Condessence Crystal x10, Grainfruit x10, Spinel Fruit x10

* Earth Shaker (claymore): Condessence Crystal x10, Embercore Flower x10, Cacahuatl x10

* Footprint of the Rainbow (polearm): Condessence Crystal x10, Embercore Flower x10, Spinel Fruit x10

* Ring of Yaxche (catalyst): Condessence Crystal x10, Candlecap Mushroom x10, Cacahuatl x10

* Chain Breaker (bow): Condessence Crystal x10, Grainfruit x10, Candlecap Mushroom x10

If you’d like to obtain every Natlan blueprint, here’s what you’ll need in total:

* Condessence Crystal x50

* Grainfruit x20

* Cacahuatl x20

* Embercore Flower x20

* Spinel Fruit x20

* Candlecap Mushroom x20

You can find Condessence Crystal in the Natlan and Fontaine regions. It’s a shiny blue rock that usually spawns in groups of at least two. Condessence Crystal typically appears near water, making it particularly common along Natlan’s coastline. If you’re willing to travel to Fontaine, the underwater trenches are another great place to gather crystals.

Grainfruit spawns all across Natlan, but a particularly great farming spot is around the Statue of the Seven east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. You’ll easily find more than 10 pieces here.

Cacahuatl also spawns everywhere in Natlan but it’s not quite as common as Grainfruit. One excellent farming location is directly north of the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits Domain, in an enemy camp at the edge of the cliff. After collecting six Cacahuatl there, glide down towards the north; the enemy camp below you contains eight Cacahuatl plus a few bonus Grainfruits.

Another rare material is the Embercore Flower. Luckily, you can find several flowers at the same spot in the Sulfurous Veins. The Embercore Flowers are on top of the rectangular cliff in the middle of this area — you can easily glide over from the teleport waypoint in the west. Beware that you must hit the flower (any attack will do) to obtain the Embercore.

Candlecap Mushrooms are very common on the cliffs north of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. The easiest way to grab them is to start from a teleport waypoint on the higher cliffs, then descend towards the city in the south.

Embercore Flowers and Candlecap Mushrooms are also highly common inside the cave system below the Toyac Springs. As this is the only place where you can farm Spinel Fruit, it’s worth a visit, but beware that you must complete the first part of the “Tracer No Tracing” world quest first. To find the entrance, head just a little bit southeast from the Statue of the Seven and drop through the gap in the ruins below.

All forgeable Natlan weapons

Not sure if these Natlan weapons are the right fit for your characters? Here’s an overview of each craftable Natlan weapon and its passive effect (no upgrades):

* Flute of Ezpitzal (sword): DEF +15%. Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15 seconds.

* Earth Shaker (claymore): ATK +6%. After a party member triggers a Pyro-related reaction, the equipping character’s Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 16% for eight seconds. This effect can be triggered even when the triggering party member is not on the field.

* Footprint of the Rainbow (polearm): DEF +11.3%. Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15 seconds.

* Ring of Yaxche (catalyst): HP +9%. Using an Elemental Skill grants the Jade-Forged Crown effect: Every 1,000 Max HP will increase the Normal Attack DMG dealt by the equipping character by 0.6% for 10 seconds. Normal Attack DMG can be increased this way by a maximum of 16%.

* Chain Breaker (bow): ATK +6%. For every party member from Natlan or who has a different Elemental Type from the equipping character, the equipping character gains 4.8% increased ATK. When there are no less than three of the aforementioned characters, the equipping character gains 24 Elemental Mastery.
