Trying to find ways to make Nix happy in Star Wars Outlaws is just something you should be doing anyway because Nix is the best. But you’ll also have to make Nix happy to unlock the Treasure Hunter ability from the skill tree for Selo, the Mechanic expert.
Our Star Wars Outlaws guide on how to make Nix happy will tell you how to unlock that step of the Mechanic’s Treasure Hunter ability.
How to make Nix happy
When you complete “The Mechanic” Expert quest, you’ll get a new boost ability for your speeder and you’ll open up The Mechanic’s Ability cards. Each Ability has a set of unlock requirements and, while most are easy to understand, some are a little more vague.
One of the vaguest is “Find four ways to make Nix happy” for the Treasure Hunter ability. The short answer here is that lots of things make Nix happy and you’ll likely do at least a couple just playing the game. What worked for us was:
* Using boost while riding the speeder
* Using the grappling hook to swing across a gap
* Having Nix sabotage an alarm panel
* Pet him (hold down L1, approach him, and then click the right thumbstick)
