Natlan! A New Adventure is the first subquest in Chapter 5: Act 1, Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Natlan! A New Adventure Archon Subquest.
Natlan! A New Adventure is unlocked automatically when you finish Bedtime Story.

Mission Description: Make your way to Natlan, but not before saying farewell to your friends from Fontaine.

- Follow Kachina to the Children of the Echoes
- Continue exploring the Children of the Echoes’ territory
- Go to the Statue of The Seven

- Register for the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame
- Go to the Weary Inn for a meal
Starting Location: Fontaine
Go to Romaritime Harbor
Use the Statue of the Seven at Romaritime Harbor. It will spawn you on the opposite side of the lift.
Turn around and go through the hallway around the lift.
Then climb onto the railing behind the Statue of the Seven.
Look straight down to see the harbor itself. Glide down to it.
You have a short reunion with some of the major players in Fontaine and even get a photo with them.
Go to Natlan
What makes this first stint of the journey quite easy is the game unlocks the first Teleport Waypoint in Natlan for you. It’s located west of the Desert of Hadramaveth.
The quest marker hides the Teleport Waypoint when zoomed out.
A cutscene begins immediately when you use this Teleport Waypoint. Paimon comments on the new landscape and fauna.
Go deeper into Natlan
Run forward a bit. When you near the transparent stone pillars on your left, you will automatically be teleported into a random wood.
This also automatically begins the Lost in the Woods World Quest. Complete Lost in the Woods to continue Natlan! A New Adventure.
Continue west into a short passage. The stone walls on your right are adorned with colorful art.
Go deeper into Natlan
The linear path takes you across a wood bridge and up several stone staircases.
This leads you to a new Teleport Waypoint. Activate it while you’re here.
You approach two adults talking to a child, Kachina.
You talk to Kachina for a bit, offering to help her with a tournament. Unfortunately, the tournament is only for Natlan natives. Instead, Kachina asks to join you on your journey.
Follow Kachina to the Children of Echoes
As an added bonus, Kachina joins your roster of available characters. She features unique techniques specific to the Natlan region.
Follow Kachina west and then left up a wooden bridge.
Along the way, she details the culture of the Children of Echoes.
Continue exploring the Children of Echoes’ territory
Kachina leads up up a set of stairs to the right. Then, after a short cutscene, she takes you up another wooden bridge.
You meet the chief of the Children of Echoes, Pacal. He recognizes you and gives you some more context on the tribe.
Go to the Statue of The Seven
When you regain control, run up the long, stone staircase in front of you.
You automatically approach the Statue of the Seven when you reach the top.
Light the Statue of The Seven
Interact with the Statue of The Seven to open the first portion of the map.
The Traveler does not get another element for some unknown reason.
Go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
When you regain control, head southwest along the path. Make sure to grab the Teleport Waypoint along the way.
At the second Teleport Waypoint on the path, you reach a rock with a glowing node on it. Approach the glowing node.
Ignite the Phlogiston Chiselith
Jump off the cliff and run to the totem-like pillar, the Phlogiston Chiselith.
Interact with it to be infused with Phlogiston.
You then get to hitch a ride on a long-necked Saurian.
Continue heading toward the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Before moving forward, turn to your left and activate the nearby Statue of the Seven.
This opens up the next section of the map.
Continue westward from there.
Before reaching the stadium, be sure to grab the Teleport Waypoint on top of the building on your right.
From here, you can glide the rest of the way.
At the gate, you meet two new people, Kinich and Mualani.
Register for the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame
Before going too far, unlock the Teleport Waypoint outside the stadium. Then, head toward the stadium.
Before entering the gate, take a left down the path.
You approach the sign-up desk for the tournament.
Go to the Weary Inn for a meal
When you regain control, head to your left through a large doorway and then down several flights of stairs.
When you reach the open circular area, run to the opposite side and enter it.
Take a sharp left. Then climb over the short wall and enter the Weary Inn on the left.
Finishing this cutscene completes Natlan! A New Adventure subquest.
