As you explore Mirogana and the wilds of Toshara, you’ll bump into doors and computers that require an advanced slicing kit. It’s a souped up version of the basic slicer Kay has as default at the start of the game. Rather than an item you can buy from merchants, you’ll need to get through a chunky quest.

She needs you to get to the antenna on the roof. Use the vent to get outside, then use the ladder on the right to reach the roof. Attach the device to the antenna. You’ll now need to disable the anti-air defences. Take the ladders on the west side of the roof to get to ground level then climb up the stairs to the rampart and follow it round to the tower marked by the quest marker, avoiding the cameras and taking out any troopers in the way.
Enter the tower, grapple across the two gaps on your left, then deal with the soldiers in the room with the speeders lining both sides. Interact the console next to the red barrier to unlock the security door. Ride the elevator up. Deal with the trooper and officer. Access the computer to the right of the window, then complete the slicing mini game to deactivate the turbolasers.
Exit the compound. Aila will send you to Makal’s Gambling Parlor in Mirogana to get the slicing kit. Head to the stockroom at the back and talk with the same informer from the Crimson Dawn district landing pad. The contact will hand over the slicing kit.
