Garcia’s Paean is unlocked automatically when you walk onto the dinner patio at Wangshu Inn.

Garcia’s Paean triggers as you walk up to Garcia on the dinner patio at the base of the Wangshu Inn tree.
Talk to Garcia
Garcia ropes you into judging his cooking as he practices a recipe for Radish Veggis Soup.
Throughout this quest, the occasional dialogue option appears. None of them affect the outcome, so feel free to choose whichever one you like best.
Go to the kitchen
From the dinner patio, head up the stairs just southwest of you and follow the path around the tree until you reach a gap in the platform. Jump across the gap and continue along the path.
One level up from the gap in the platform, you’ll see a chest on your right that’s blocked by some bramble. Burn the bramble and open the chest. Then, continue upward around the tree.
You come across another break in the platform. Jump and glide across the gap to continue along the path up the tree.
Once you reach the first gateway into the tree, go in and follow the stairs on the left down to the kitchen.
Make Delicious Radish Veggie Soup
Use the stove in front of you to cook some Delicious Radish Veggie Soup. If you happen to not have enough of the necessary ingredients, the shelves in the kitchen have everything you need to complete the recipe.
If you haven’t done so already, the first few attempts at cooking a new recipe need to be done manually. To make the “delicious” version of the Radish Veggie Soup, you need to time your button press so that the cursor lines up in the dark yellow section of the meter.
Hand Over Delicious Radish Veggie Soup
Talk to Garcia right behind you to give him the Delicious Radish Veggie Soup you made. Giving items in Genshin Impact is a bit weird. First, select the soup in the pop-up inventory, then press Square to actually give the item to Garcia.
After you finish the conversation with Garcia, you complete Garcia’s Paean.
