Here’s everything you need to know to complete the ginger wolf, Xu Dog quest in Black Myth Wukong.
At teh end of the chapter, you can find Xu Dog again underneath the Crouching Tiger Temple near the brazier at the back of the cave.
Xu Dog’s second location
Now, you find the second location, you have a long way ahead. Continue the main storyline in Chapter 2, clearing your way through the village, Crouching Tiger Temple, and then Windrest. At the end of Windrest, you’ll eventually come across the basin of the area. This desert area will have a boss called the Stone Vanguard. When defeated, the boss will give you a key item called the Sterness of Stone.
The Sterness of Stone will allow you to open up the doors and pedestals you encounter in the village and the Crouching Tiger Temple. Where the main boss is in the village, there’s a large metal door. At the top of the Crouching Tiger Temple, you’ll find a pedestal at the tallest point of the temple. Interacting with them will open the pathways that lead to a second area. The best way to find Xu Dog is via the Crouching Tiger Temple, as it goes straight down. At the bottom of the temple, you will find a sandy slope to slide down. From there, you can go right and find Xu Dog hiding behind some vases near a furnace. You’ll then complete his quest chain and unlock Celestial Medicine.
