There’s nothing worse when you want to play your game and you can’t. Multiplayer games tend to hiccup from time to time, and Tarisland is no exception. Tarisland does go down fairly often due to scheduled server maintenance. Here’s a look at when we know Tarisland is supposed to go down.
Is Tarisland down?
As it stands, the only scheduled time for Tarisland to go down that we are aware of is for server maintenance on August 15th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (UTC+8). During that time, the developers are patching in the following changes and updates:
- Arcane Realm Floor Challenge Adjustments:
- Added floors 41-60. Starting from floor 41, some boss battles will have an increased Berserk duration.
- The difficulties of the first 40 floors are lowered. (For example, compared to the previous floor 40: monster HP and ATK are reduced by about 17% and 40% respectively)
- Floors 1-45 are modified into Default Open, but floors 46-60 still require one-by-one unlocking.
- The dungeon corresponding to each floor is fixed and no longer random.
- Event Launch:
- Brand-new double flying mount [Double Airship], limited-edition pendants [Demon Wings], and [Demon Quotes] will be available for a limited time on the Market from August 24 to September 6.
- Experience Optimizations:
- Fixed the issue of abnormalities caused by the Annihilation affix when fighting against the third boss in the Forest Altar.
- Fixed the issue of the Barbarian Fighter’s Talent “Tearing Wound” not taking effect normally.
- Fixed the issue where Archdruid’s “No Sprout” achievement could not be completed in Epic difficulty.
- Removed PvP-related tasks from daily and weekly quests.
Keep in mind it is not the first time that Tarisland has undergone extended maintenance. Sometimes the server stays down for much longer. If they do experience troubles, you’ll likely be getting some compensation in the mail to get rewards for your missed grinding time.
Outside of that, there is no other intended server maintenance that we know of. We recommend taking a look at Discord for other down reports from other players to ensure it is a server issue and not something you’re having personally.
