The Blitzer got a big buff thanks to one of the many updates Arrowhead has provided. Because of this, the Blitzer is now a much more viable weapon than it used to be. You might want to know how to make a proper build for this weapon so you can easily take down swarms of enemies with little issue. Let’s break down what is the best Blitzer loadout for Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 Blitzer loadout explained
For this Blitzer loadout, we will be focusing mainly on the use of energy weapons. This will come in handy thanks to the lack of ammo you will require as energy weapons don’t require ammo. Let’s break down every weapon and item that you will want in your Blitzer loadout.
Arc-12 Blitzer
The Arc-12 Blitzer is the start of the build and the gun that you will be using most often. This weapon shoots lightning out of its barrel which shocks enemies and can even stun them. Using the Jump Pack will enhance your mobility and help you hit enemies while on the move.
GP-31 Grenade Pistol
For your sidearm, you will want to take the trust GP-31 Grenade Pistol. This weapon hits hard and is great for closing bug holes. Its shots are good for crowd control and it can ragdoll smaller enemies in case you need a break for the onslaught.
G-23 Stun
For your grenade slot, you will want to choose one of the best throwables in Helldivers 2, the G-23 Stun grenade. This grenade is always useful thanks to its ability to stun foes in a large area. Whenever you need a break or need to escape, simply throw one of these out and you will be good.
Stratagem choices
When it comes to the Stratagems, you will definitely want to bring the Jump Pack and the Quasar Cannon as both of these will come in a lot of use in every mission. First, the Jump Pack is great for mobility, allowing you to escape enemies, kite them, or aggressively jump into them when the timing is right. The Quasar Cannon, on the other hand, is amazing for clearing out larger foes like Bile Titans.
For the other Stratagems, you can choose whatever you like. We prefer to take the Eagle Cluster Bomb and the Orbital Railcannon Strike as we find these the most useful. You can also make good use of the Autocannon Sentry, Exosuit, or whatever else you feel like that isn’t locked to your backpack.
Armor choices
You will want to focus on running one of two armour passives; Med Kit and Engineering Kit. Both of these will help but we found that the Med Kit is the best of the passives for this loadout as it increases your holding capacity of stims and how long stims last. This is invaluable when dealing with larger groups of enemies. The Engineering Kit, however, increases throwables by two which is useful if you rely on the stun grenades a lot.
How to unlock the Blitzer in Helldivers 2
If you want to use this build, you will of course need to unlock the Blitzer. The Blitzer can be found on page three of the Cutting Edge Premium Warbond. If you have not unlocked this Warbond, it will cost you 1,000 Super Credits. Once you reach page three, you will need to spend 80 medals to unlock this weapon.
How to use the Blitzer in Helldivers 2
To use the Blitzer effectively, you will want to be at close range to slightly medium range from your targets. Most importantly, you will want to hip-fire the weapon. It has been pointed out that the Blitzer is a much stronger weapon when you don’t use ADS. ADS decreases the weapon’s spread, making it more accurate but far less deadly for groups of enemies. You should use ADS when dealing with single foes but when dealing with groups, use the hip-fire mode. Along with this, be sure to always keep on the move and utilize the Jump Pack to get away from enemies or be aggressive when needed.
