All Helldivers 2 Warbonds, ranked
Each Warbond has bonus items that you can purchase with in-game medals. These medals are obtained by completing side objectives and missions. Make sure you save up enough medals because some of the items can get pretty pricey. Here is how we rank each of the Warbonds in Helldivers 2.
The Cutting Edge Warbond offers great energy weapons. Image captured by VideoGamer
1. Cutting Edge
The first on the list is the Cutting Edge Warbond. Not only does this Warbond offer some of the best energy weapons in the game, but it also has some pretty awesome-looking armour sets. The most notable items in this Warbond are the LAS-16 Sickle and the Arc-12 Blitzer which are both considered to be some of the best weapons in the game.
The Democratic Detonation Warbond has some great explosive weapons. Image captured by VideoGamer
2. Democratic Detonation
The Democratic Detonation Warbond is second on the list and is one of our personal favourites. This Warbond features the G-31 Grenade Pistol which is one of the best sidearms to take with you into battle. The Adjudicator is also a good weapon that can hold its own on higher difficulties. Of course, the Warbond also features some pretty nice armour sets.
The Steeled Veterans Warbond has great items like the Senator and Dominator. Image captured by VideoGamer
3. Steeled Veterans
Next up is the Steeled Veterans Warbond. Again, this Warbond has some seriously nice armour sets. Along with that, it has some good weapons with the most notable being the Senator and the Dominator. Of course, there are those who don’t prefer the Liberator Concussive on the first page.
The Viper Commandos Warbond features the K-2 Throwing Knife and the Shotgun sidearm. Image captured by VideoGamer
4. Viper Commandos
Despite having some of the best-looking armour sets in the game, Viper Commandos isn’t what people were hoping for. This Warbond features the K-2 Throwing Knife which is great for stealth missions. It also features the Bushwacker shotgun which can be taken as a sidearm and another version of the Liberator. While this Warbond is okay, it definitely wouldn’t be first on our list.
The Polar Patriots Warbond has some good items but isn’t what most players wanted. Image captured by VideoGamer
5. Polar Patriots
Many would agree that Polar Patriots is one of the worst Warbonds that Arrowhead has released. The weapons are pretty lacklustre as well as the armour sets. The best item from this Warbond is the Purifier which does offer some good damage with an okay fire rate but other than that, the Warbond has not been great.
The Freedom’s Flame Warbond has a handheld flamethrower and fireproof armour. Image captured by VideoGamer
6. Freedom’s Flame
The Freedom’s Flame Warbond has been dubbed the worst since the release of Polar Patriots. Each of the weapons ended up being lacklustre and only good when used against the Terminids. Many have said that they won’t bother getting the Warbond as well. At best, players agree that the Cookout is the only viable weapon from the Warbond.
