Delta Force Hawk Ops with its Battlefield-like gameplay and style will have many maps to play on at launch. Furthermore, with the Tarkov-like mode in the game, there are a handful of maps for that mode too. If you’re wondering about the size, scope and variations in map and level design, here’s a closer look at all the maps in Delta Force Hawk Ops.
All maps in Delta Force Hawk Ops (so far)
In terms of Alpha content, there are the following maps:
Turmoil | Havoc Warfare |
Zero Dam | Ascended |
Leyali Grove | Cracked |
Space City (Not yet active)
Brakkesh (Not yet active)
Valkyr (Not yet active)
Rattlesnake (Not yet active) |
Tactical Turmoil maps are the Tarkov / DMZ mode maps. These maps have an objective, POIs that all culminate with boss areas to fight over, missions to accept, and areas to loot. The variations in maps make it familiar with Tarkov for its different themes and styles of gameplay to accept. As it stands, Zero Dam is an area with mixed compound sizes with medium range and close range antics in many locations. Meanwhile, Leytali Grove is a map with wider paces making it a more open firefight area. It’s likely the other maps will have their own themes and styles to give you some uniqueness and variety to contend against foes and players alike.
As for Havoc Warfare, this is the rush-type game mode. In the alpha, there are only two maps. Ascended and Cracked. Cracked is a more smaller map with more urban areas to fight in a desert town. There are some shorter-range open spaces, alongside many buildings, army camps, checkpoints, urban areas, markets, and such features. Ascensions however is a more vehicle-based map. It has very long and open areas, for the first half of the map. It then culminates in a cave area that’s a very close range with many chokeholds. You then have a mixed area right at the end with a base to defend. So, you get to experience some variations in map and level design and get a feel for how different areas are attacker and then defender favoured.
There will be more maps as the betas and fl launch comes around. The game is still in alpha so we are only testing maps that are ready to be tested. There’s a lot more to be done with the game before its full launch and future betas with future game modes and maps.
