Fred Warner
Fred Warner retains his spot at the top from last year’s game, as has even increased his rating by one point. Following a huge season with the 49ers as they came agonisingly close to a Super Bowl win over the Chiefs, Warner is in his prime, and there’s simply no better linebacker in real life or Madden 25 right now, making him handily one of the best players in the game.
Roquan Smith
Another player retaining his spot from last year, Roquan Smith had a great season that saw his rating bumped up three points to 95. At the same age as Fred Warner, he’s also another player that’s in his prime, and would be a stellar addition to almost any team on the roster.
Demario Davis
Rising from fourth last year to third on this year’s list, Demario Davis is by far the oldest of our top three, being 35 at the start of Madden 25. But despite his age, that hasn’t stopped him from having a solid season with the Saints, earning him a rating of 92 – it just goes to show that youth can’t always beat out experience.
