If you were to purchase the Super Credits required for this, you would need to spend $10 which is half the cost of the upgrade to this edition. If you don’t want to spend the money, you’d need to farm Super Credits to get it which will take a little while.

We believe that the Super Citizen Edition is worth it if you are a new player or someone who puts in a lot of time into Helldivers 2 and would get value out of the bonus content. If you have already purchased the Steeled Veterans’ Warbond then you should avoid getting the upgrade for this edition because you have already taken out some of the edition’s value.

Helldivers 2 Super Citizen Edition comes with a fair amount of bonus content for only $20 more than the base game. The game with the bonus content added will cost you $60 or 55 Euros. As stated above, this is twice what you can expect to pay if you purchase the Super Credits for the Steel Veterans’ Warbond. That alone makes the edition worth it, especially for those who have not purchased the game yet as they can start with a good weapon, some armour, and access to a premium Warbond with some good gear. Of course, you don’t want to forget about the inclusion of the Stratagem Hero Ship Game which is only available in this edition.
Why to avoid Helldivers 2 Super Citizen Edition
The main reason to avoid the Super Citizen Edition of Helldivers 2 is to not pay the additional cost of the game. Since you can earn the premium Warbond in-game without needing to spend money, you can get around the cost of purchasing Super Credits. Additionally, the armour set doesn’t do too much. The biggest bonuses of this edition of the game are the ship game and the MP-98 Knight which is a good weapon for beginners but ultimately falls short compared to other weapons in the game.
