Metro - Metrobus Mexico is a public transportation system serving the Greater Mexico City area. It consists of two main modes of transportation: the Metro, a rapid transit system, and the Metrobus, a bus rapid transit system.

Metro

The Metro is a rapid transit system with 12 lines and 195 stations, making it one of the largest metro systems in the world. The lines are identified by different colors and numbers, and they cover a total distance of over 226 kilometers (141 miles). The Metro operates from 5:00 AM to midnight, and it transports over 5 million passengers per day.

Metrobus

The Metrobus is a bus rapid transit system with 7 lines and 280 stations. The lines are identified by different colors and letters, and they cover a total distance of over 120 kilometers (75 miles). The Metrobus operates from 4:30 AM to midnight, and it transports over 1 million passengers per day.

Fares

The fares for the Metro and Metrobus are the same. A single ticket costs 5 pesos (about 25 cents), and it allows for unlimited transfers between the two systems. There are also weekly and monthly passes available.

Hours of Operation

The Metro and Metrobus operate from 5:00 AM to midnight, seven days a week.
