There’s no need to sit in front of a laptop or go to a shop to manage your travel needs. You can buy transport tickets in advance or just before you travel. Jump on the bus and plan a journey whilst you’re travelling. You can check your next connecting transport service to see if there are any delays. Quickly find an alternative route for when there is a traffic jam or road incident. Beat the rush by knowing when your next bus is arriving. Your Swift account, your tickets, your departure times and your transport service locator all on your phone in one smart app.

The TfWM – Powered by Swift app is the smart way to travel around the West Midlands. Use your app for Birmingham travel, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Solihull. You can also use it to locate many transport services including, National Express bus, West Midlands Trains and West Midlands Metro.

If you’re new to Swift, you can use the app to create an account. Find and buy the transport ticket you need for your journey, whether it be for Birmingham travel, Coventry travel, a Monthly ntrain or Monthly regional travelcard. You can then use your phone to collect your transport ticket on your Swift card and start travelling. It’s as simple as that.

A card production time applies to new customers. New customers will need to wait 7 days to receive their Swift card before they can start travelling.

NFC is required to use the Swift Collector feature within the app. You will need to have an Android phone with version 5 or later.

*You can only scan your ticket from your phone if you have an Android phone and have bought an adult ticket for travel on tram only.

Terraforming Mars (TfWM) is a competitive strategy board game for 1-5 players, set on the titular planet in the 24th century. Players take on the roles of corporations tasked with transforming the Martian environment to make it habitable for humans.

Gameplay

Each player controls a corporation with unique abilities and starts with a hand of project cards. On their turn, players can:

* Play project cards: These cards represent actions that contribute to terraforming Mars, such as raising the oxygen level, increasing the temperature, or introducing plants.

* Use corporation abilities: Each corporation has special abilities that can give them advantages in the game.

* Claim milestones: Certain milestones, such as achieving a specific oxygen level or temperature, provide bonus victory points.

* Produce resources: Players need resources (steel, titanium, energy, etc.) to play project cards. They can produce resources by using production cards or by trading with other players.

Victory Conditions

The game ends when one of the following conditions is met:

* All the oceans have been placed on the map.

* All the oxygen and temperature tiles have been drawn.

* A player reaches 14 victory points.

Victory points are earned by completing milestones, playing project cards, and controlling territories on the map.

Key Strategies

Successful terraforming in TfWM requires a combination of strategies, including:

* Engine building: Building a strong engine of production and resource conversion allows players to play more project cards and score more victory points.

* Specialization: Each corporation has its own strengths and weaknesses. Players should focus on their corporation's unique abilities to maximize their potential.

* Trading: Trading resources with other players can help players fill in gaps in their production and complete projects more efficiently.

* Map control: Controlling territories on the map provides additional victory points and resources. Players should strategically place their cubes to maximize their control.

* Timing: The timing of project cards is crucial. Players should consider the effects of their actions on both themselves and their opponents.
