Yellowstone Wolves: The Years

Yellowstone NP Wolves, Packs, Territories Map, selected photos 2019 - 2024 (IAP)

Yellowstone Wolves: The Years provides up to 6 years of annual snapshot data of Wolves, Packs & Territories.

The free app comes with the data for 2019 so you can learn what the app's functions are. After you see the value of the data, you can purchase additional years of data for 2020 through 2024 using In-App Purchase (IAP). Pick the Catalog icon in the Map app bar for the list of available years. After you complete the purchases, you can pick the Year Choice icon in the Map app bar to choose one of your years. $1 from each year sold is donated directly to the Yellowstone Wolf Project.

You can choose among the following functions for each year:

- Map - locations of the Packs, which you can select for further details

- Details - the main information for selected Pack & Wolves is shown first

You can display additional specifics by touching one of the icons at the top right of the screen:

• Request Yellowstone SPOTR to show the Pullouts where the Pack might be seen

• Wolf Statistics of the current year

• Search Results Totals, including the Search Criteria that produced the selection

• Pack Summary & Legend

Touch the Details icon at the bottom of the screen to see information for all packs.

- Search - criteria you can choose to select a specific set of Packs & Wolves in the Details screen

For example, you could search for all collared wolves or all wolves with a specific coat color.

- Graph - for the years you have, you can graph statistics to compare Packs, look for trends, etc.

- About - explanations, descriptions, legends & contact information

In addition, Yellowstone SPOTR provides a function in the details for a Pullout. You can request Yellowstone Wolves: The Years to show which Packs might be seen from that Pullout for a particular year.

Wi-Fi access is needed to purchase additional years but is not needed to see the years' contents.
