Zafafi is a classic card game that combines strategy, memory, and a dash of luck. Played with a deck of 52 cards, Zafafi is suitable for 2-4 players and can be enjoyed by individuals of all skill levels.

Gameplay

The objective of Zafafi is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. To start the game, each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the middle of the table to form the draw pile.

The player to the left of the dealer begins by drawing a card from the draw pile. If the player can match the drawn card with a card in their hand, they can lay it down on the table in front of them. If they cannot make a match, they must discard the drawn card on top of the discard pile.

Players can also match cards by placing them on top of existing piles on the table. If a player can match the rank or suit of the top card on a pile, they can add their card to it. The player who completes a pile of four cards wins the pile and adds it to their score.

Special Cards

Zafafi includes several special cards that can significantly impact gameplay:

* Zafafi: This card is the most powerful in the game and allows the player who plays it to take all the cards on the table.

* Ace: Aces can be used to match any card.

* Joker: Jokers can be used to match any card or to steal a pile from another player.

Winning

The game continues until one player gets rid of all their cards. The player with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner.

Strategy

Zafafi requires a combination of strategy and memory skills. Players must pay attention to the cards that have been played and discarded to deduce what cards their opponents may have in their hands. They must also plan their moves carefully to maximize their chances of completing piles and winning cards.

Variations

Zafafi has several variations, including:

* Zafafi with Draw Two: In this variation, players draw two cards at the start of their turn instead of one.

* Zafafi with Stealing: In this variation, players can steal piles from other players by playing a Joker.

* Zafafi with Betting: In this variation, players can bet on the number of cards they can get rid of in a single turn.
