My friends play duckpin bowling. They need an app to record their scores. So, I write this app. This app records score / pin location.

Duckpin and candlepin bowling, popular variations of ten-pin bowling, employ a smaller ball and pins, resulting in a unique scoring system. The scoreboard consists of 10 frames, each divided into two boxes representing the two balls bowled per frame.

Scoring

* Strike (X): Knocking down all ten pins with the first ball of a frame. Worth 10 points plus the total number of pins knocked down in the next two balls.

* Spare (/): Knocking down all ten pins with the two balls of a frame. Worth 10 points plus the number of pins knocked down with the first ball of the next frame.

* Open Frame: Failing to knock down all ten pins with the two balls of a frame. The score for the frame is simply the number of pins knocked down.

Bonus Frames

* 10th Frame Bonus: If a strike or spare is achieved in the 10th frame, two or one additional ball(s) are awarded, respectively. The score for the 10th frame is the sum of the pins knocked down in these extra balls.

Additional Scoring Rules

* Split: A spare where the remaining pins are not adjacent to each other. Worth 10 points plus the number of pins knocked down with the first ball of the next frame, regardless of whether the spare is converted.

* Washout: Knocking down all ten pins with the second ball after a gutter ball in the first ball. Worth 10 points plus the number of pins knocked down with the first ball of the next frame.

Key Differences from Ten-Pin Bowling

* Smaller ball and pins
