Tristate Weather - WEHT WTVW is a local news and weather station serving the Tri-State area of Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. It is owned by Gray Television and broadcasts from studios in Evansville, Indiana.

History

WEHT first went on the air in 1953 as WFIE-TV. It was the first television station in the Tri-State area and was originally affiliated with NBC. In 1955, the station was sold to WTVW, Inc., and changed its call letters to WTVW. In 1994, WTVW was sold to Gray Television.
