Winker is a social deduction game for 3-10 players that pits two teams against each other: the Winks and the Guessers. The goal of the Winks is to lead the Guessers to guess a secret word, while the goal of the Guessers is to identify the Winks and prevent them from succeeding.

Gameplay

The game is played over a series of rounds. In each round, one player is randomly selected to be the Winker. The Winker secretly receives a word from the game deck and must provide clues to the Guessers without revealing the word itself. The Guessers then have a limited number of turns to guess the word based on the clues provided by the Winker.

Clues

Clues can be given in the form of words, phrases, or gestures. The Winker must be careful not to be too obvious or too vague, as this could give away the secret word. The Guessers, on the other hand, must pay close attention to the clues and try to deduce the word from the information provided.

Winking

In addition to providing clues, the Winker has the ability to "wink" at other players. When a player winks at another player, it indicates that they are also a Wink. This can be a valuable way to coordinate strategies and mislead the Guessers. However, if a Guesser catches a Winker winking, the Winker is eliminated from the game.

Winning

The Winks win if they can successfully lead the Guessers to guess the secret word. The Guessers win if they can identify all of the Winks before the word is guessed.

Variations

There are several variations of Winker, including:

* Silent Winker: The Winker cannot speak or make any sounds.

* Musical Winker: The Winker provides clues through music or singing.

* Team Winker: The game is played in teams, with each team having its own Winker.

Strategy

Winker requires a combination of deduction, deception, and teamwork. As the Winker, it is important to provide clues that are both informative and misleading.
