This is a remote control app exclusively for Cable Plus STB/STB-2.

This application allows you to operate the Cable Plus STB, watch broadcasts/recordings, and schedule recordings from anywhere on an Android device such as a smartphone or tablet.

◆Main features

・You can view the program schedule, select channels, and reserve viewing/recording according to the course you are subscribed to.

・You can view and delete recordings recorded on the hard disk connected to Cable Plus STB/STB-2.

・You can display, change, or delete programs reserved for Cable Plus STB/STB-2.

You can perform the same operations as the remote control included with Cable Plus STB/STB-2.

*Does not support TV volume adjustment.

You can use the search function to search for keywords or people.

You can schedule recordings whether you are on the go or at home.

*You must complete remote recording reservation settings with your Cable Plus STB/STB-2 in advance.

ケーブルプラスRemoteは、2003年3月12日にNECホームエレクトロニクスより発売された、PlayStation 2用の体感ゲームである。

概要

本作は、PlayStation 2用のモーションコントローラー「EyeToy」を利用した体感ゲームで、プレイヤーはコントローラーを使わずに、自分の動きをゲーム内に反映させて遊ぶことができる。ゲーム内容は、リズムゲーム、スポーツゲーム、アクションゲームなど、さまざまなジャンルを収録しており、一人でも、複数人で協力または対戦することもできる。

ゲーム内容

* リズムゲーム：音楽に合わせて体を動かして遊ぶゲーム。タイミングよく体を動かすと、画面上のキャラクターがダンスをしたり、楽器を演奏したりする。

* スポーツゲーム：テニス、サッカー、バレーボールなどのスポーツを、体を動かして遊ぶゲーム。コントローラーを使わずに、実際に体を動かしてボールを打ったり、シュートしたりすることができる。

* アクションゲーム：敵を倒したり、障害物を避けたりするゲーム。体を動かしてキャラクターを操作し、攻撃や回避を行う。

* ミニゲーム：リズムゲームやスポーツゲームなどのミニゲームを収録。短い時間で手軽に楽しめる。

EyeToy

EyeToyは、PlayStation 2用のモーションコントローラーで、カメラを使ってプレイヤーの動きを認識する。コントローラーを使わずに、自分の動きをゲーム内に反映させて遊ぶことができる。ケーブルプラスRemoteでは、このEyeToyを使用して、プレイヤーの動きをゲーム内に反映させて遊ぶ。

評価

ケーブルプラスRemoteは、発売当初は斬新なゲームシステムが評価され、ヒット商品となった。しかし、長期的に見ると、ゲーム内容の単調さや、長時間プレイすると疲れるなどの問題が指摘され、徐々に人気が衰退していった。

影響

ケーブルプラスRemoteは、モーションコントローラーを使用した体感ゲームの先駆けとなった。その後のPlayStation 3やWiiなどのゲーム機でも、モーションコントローラーが採用され、体感ゲームが普及するきっかけとなった。
