Overview

20 Minuten is a fast-paced German card game for 2-5 players. The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, plus two jokers.

Gameplay

The game begins with each player being dealt 10 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table. The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing a card from their hand. The next player must then play a card of the same suit or rank. If they cannot, they must draw a card from the pile.

The game continues in this manner until one player gets rid of all their cards. If the pile is empty and no player can play a card, the player with the fewest cards wins the round.

Special Cards

There are two special cards in 20 Minuten:

* Joker: The joker can be played as any card.

* 20: The 20 card can be played on any card.

Scoring

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round and scores 1 point. The other players score 1 point for each card they have left in their hand.

The game is played over multiple rounds until one player reaches a predetermined score, such as 10 or 15 points.

Variations
