The ultimate goal of Sâm Lốc is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. Players aim to form valid combinations and strategically discard cards to advance towards this objective.

Card Combinations

Sâm Lốc features a unique set of card combinations that determine the strength and validity of each player's hand:

* Single Card: A single card that does not belong to any other combination.

* Pair: Two cards of the same rank.

* Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank.

* Straight: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit.

* Flush: Three or more cards of the same suit, regardless of rank.

* Full House: A combination of three of a kind and a pair.

* Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank.

* Straight Flush: A combination of a straight and a flush.

* Sâm: A combination of 10 or more cards of the same suit, including at least one A and one 2.

Gameplay

Sâm Lốc is played in a clockwise direction. The first player starts by discarding a single card or a combination of cards. Subsequent players must either play a combination that is higher in value or pass their turn.

The player who played the highest-ranking combination leads the next round. If a player is unable to play a valid combination, they must draw a card from the draw pile.

Special Cards

Sâm Lốc includes two special cards that can significantly impact the game:

* 2: The 2 of any suit can be used as a wild card to substitute for any other card.

* A: The Ace of any suit can be used to split a straight or flush, creating two separate combinations.

Scoring

Once a player gets rid of all their cards, they win the game and score points based on the cards remaining in their opponents' hands. The player with the lowest total score at the end of a predetermined number of rounds wins the overall game.
