A Snake in the Garden is a Mystery side quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Snake in the Garden Mystery side mission.
- Starting Location: The Vatican / Apostolic Palace
- Requirement: Pick up Mystery Note #5: Bookcase Note
- Reward: 100 AP
In the Apostolic Palace is Ventura’s office, and on his desk is a note that will trigger the Mystery.
Mystery Note #5: Bookcase Note
Reading the Bookcase Note, will let you know that the books are the key to the secret and they have to be pulled in alphabetical order. Now look at the back of the paper, which will tell you the symbols that go with each book.
Go to the bookcase on the north side of the room and pull on the books in this order: crown, triangle, wheel, sun. This will activate the mechanism and a secret panel will open and raise a platform containing a stack of cash (120₤) and a note. Picking up the note will solve the Mystery.
Mystery Note #6: Mussolini’s Letter
This finishes the A Snake in the Garden Mystery side quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
